Trevor (died January 2019) was a mallard duck[1] that arrived in the island country of Niue in July 2018.
At the time of his arrival, Trevor was the only mallard duck on Niue, and it was never determined how he arrived on the island.

Trevor lived in a roadside puddle, which was refilled by the Niue Fire Service and locals when it began to dry out.

Trevor was named after Trevor Mallard, speaker of the New Zealand Parliament.
Death
editTrevor's body was discovered in January 2019 after apparently being killed by dogs.[2]
