Tut Gatluak Manime who is also known as Tut Kew Gatluak Manime (born in 1968) is a south Sudanese politician.[1] He is the South Sudan security advisor.[2] He was a co-founder of the NCP/NIF.[1]
Early life and background
editManime was born in 1968 in Mayom village which is located in Unity State.[1]
Education
editManime attended his primary education at Robukona primary school in the 1970s.[1] He completed his secondary education at Muhammed Ibrahim secondary school in Bhari (Khartoum).[1] He graduated with bachelor's in economics and public administration at the university of Gezira.[1] Tut Gatluak pursued his PhD in security studies at the University of Manchester.[1]
Career and working experience
editManime joined the Sudanese (Jalaba) military after his first degree where he trained was trained as an intelligence officer.[1] Tut Kew Gatluak became a member of National Congress Party (NCP) /NIF until 2005.[1]
Omar al-Bashir recommended Tut Kew Gatluak Manime and he was appointed a presidential advisor on security matters by Salva Kiir Mayardit in August 2014.[1]
