Blue is the upcoming debut studio album by American rapper Kanii, set to be released in 2024. It will be Kanii's first album under Warner Records. Kanii began teasing the album in early 2024 on the popular social media app Tiktok and Instagram.[1]

Background and promotion
editIn early 2024, Kanii changed his profile on the social media platform Instagram to the color blue. On May 13, he shared a 25-second snippet of a new song on TikTok with the caption:
time for a new era? I think so #BLUE"[2]
Later, in a series of Instagram stories, he revealed the first single from the album, titled 'MIA,' which was released on May 30.[3] On June 17, he announced his upcoming headlining European tour, titled the '#Blue Tour.' On August 23, he released the album's second single, titled 'Same Stories (Come and Go).'[4]
