The Vortex Game Engine is a Game Engine based on Source Engine 2013 SP branch of the Source Engine, The project is currently being maintained on GitHub by the Echo Vortex Labs (game development team), The engine is licensed under its own license developed by the Team called EVLSv2 which is based on the MiT License.

it is aimed to be the successor to a project by the name of "Vortex Toolbox"

Supported Operating Systems

Vortex supports a wide range of Operating System its first OS that it will release is going to be Windows 10 in late 2024 then to Linux then finally on to Android. it has support for android because of a leak of the Source Engine in 2017^[1] which made an open-source build-able version of the source engine for android Vortex Uses this code to build versions of the Engine
