Draft:Western Australian Speleological Group

The Western Australian Speleological Group (WASG) is a speleological group based in Nedlands, Western Australia.[1] It was created in 1958 to promote speleology, scientific investigation, and the fostering and preservation of caves in Western Australia. Originally, the group was formed as a member of the Western Australian Naturalists Club, but later affiliated with the Australian Speleological Federation.[2] As Western Australia's largest caving group[3], WASG continues to arrange caving expeditions in which they may create cave surveys, conduct rehabilitation measures, and work to enable better access to caves.[2]
