William Mason Shehan (c. 1873 – August 25, 1940)[1] was a justice of the Maryland Court of Appeals from 1934 until his death in 1940.[2]

"He was born in Oxford, Maryland, and was educated there and at the University of Maryland. He received his legal training at the University of Maryland Law School. He began his legal career in the office of the late United States Senator Charles H. Gibson, and continued there until his appointment as State Insurance Commissioner in 1912".[1]
