Wine Lips is a Canadian garage psych-rock band originally formed in Toronto in 2015 as a part-time project of singer and guitarist Cam Hilborn and drummer Aurora Evans. They quickly came to fame after releasing their self-titled debut album in 2017, which was followed by a 2018 tour in China and Hong Kong. Their follow-up album Stressor, released in 2019 received critical acclaim as well as multiple placements across US and European radio and was accompanied by another tour. Throughout 2020, the band focused on recording their third studio album Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party, released with great success a year later in October, spawning three hit singles, "Eyes", "Tension" and "In the Clear" and accumulating over 23 million streams on Spotify alone. Their latest album Super Mega Ultra, was recorded by Simon Larochette in Ontario, released in early April, 2024 and followed by a tour across North America and Europe.[1]
