Words of Habit

edit

Words of HABIT is a five letter Hidden Word guessing game played on a 5x5 grid, created by Canadian, Daniel O'Kopniak (DANIEL Ventures by Design Inc.). The game shares similarities with late 80's American TV game show Lingo. Words of HABIT gives four priority clues to letters of Guess Words by identifying letters that are found in the Hidden Word, whether each letter is 1) the first letter, 2) in the right sequence, 3) out of sequence or 4) not found in the Hidden Word. There are over 5,000 Hidden Words available with maximum of five Guess Words to guess the Hidden Word.

In it's simplicity, Words of HABIT can be played between two Players using pencil and paper, like Tic-tac-toe or Hangman, with each Player guessing each other's Hidden Word and providing clues to their opponent's Guess Words.

American Paracoders, LLC is the software developer for Words of HABIT Apps. The first App made available on The App Store included multi-player (up to four Players) format with Players competing with options to select their own Hidden Words for other Players to guess, or all Players guessing the same Hidden Word generated from the App. The 2024 remake App simplified the game Player versions and added a link to word definition for learning purposes.
