World Olive Tree Day (Arabic: اليوم العالمي لشجرة الزيتون) is celebrated globally on November 26 every year. The day was officially recognized by UNESCO at its 40th General Conference in 2019.[1][2] The olive tree, especially the olive branch, has been a symbol of peace, harmony and wisdom.[3] Harmony since ancient times. This day is not only important to the regions where these trees grow, but it also resonates with people and communities around the world.[1]
