He is known for his dedication to innovation, social justice, and sustainable development in Sri Lanka. Perera is the Managing Director of UDB Corporation (Pvt) Ltd, a technology-driven enterprise committed to effecting positive change. He also serves as the Director of Social Intell (Guarantee) Ltd, an organization focused on empowering communities and promoting social responsibility.
Early Life and Education
Yazath Perera was born as Habarakadage Yazath Lalinda Pereraon September 19, 1985. He attended St. Anthony’s College in Wattala, where he developed a strong educational foundation that would shape his future ambitions. Following his primary education, he pursued higher studies at the National Institute of Business Management and the University of Colombo School of Computing, where he gained significant expertise in business and technology.
Political Career
Perera entered the political arena with the Liberal Democratic Party, aligning with his strong belief in liberal values and democratic principles.
