Zach Top (born September 26, 1997) is an American country music singer originally from Sunnyside, Washington.
His music is reminiscent of popular 90s country music artists, and he has been both compared to and influenced by George Strait, Randy Travis, Marty Robbins, and others.[1] His debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, was released on April 5, 2024. [2] Zac made his Grand Ole Opry debut on July 27, 2022, where he also sang his debut single, "Sounds Like The Radio." In January, 2024, "Sounds Like The Radio" made became the #1 most added song in country radio.[3]

editBluegrass
editAfter touring with the Seattle-based Bluegrass bands North Country and then Modern Tradition between 2015 - 2019, Top embarked on a solo Bluegrass career in the Fall of 2020.[7]
Top found success in the Bluegrass genre. His first bluegrass single, "In a World Gone Wrong", was released in late 2020, and reached number 4 on the Bluegrass Today charts, while his third single, "Like It Ain't No Thing", reached number 1.[7]

On April 5, 2024, Top's debut album, "Cold Beer & Country Music," was released. Produced by hit songwriter and former Keith Whitley band leader Carson Chamberlain, this record was met with positive reviews. CountryCentral.com wrote that "From Top to bottom, Cold Beer & Country Music is a masterclass in traditional country music. It’s refreshing to hear an album that feels so entirely country all through...Top has proven himself as a standout rising star in this format and a premier vocalist in country music.[11]. Referring to his second single, "Use Me", Holler wrote, "he delivers one of the best vocal performances from a contemporary male artist in the last decade, and one that should initiate award interest come nomination season later this year."[12]
