editFounded in 2009, Zimbabwe Fashion Week was created to foster the growth of the local fashion industry and provide a global platform for Zimbabwean designers. The event was held in Harare each year. The event has attracted international attention and participants over the years. The event took a four year haitus from 2019- 2022. It returned in 2023, in a new city, Victoria Falls.

The CAP culminates in a fashion show where designers showcase their collections, offering significant exposure and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
