Concerns raised during the deletion discussion have been addressed. No press releases are quoted as sources. The two or so blogs referenced are from reliable sources. The article was restructured with a more encyclopedic and non-promotional tone. The section on the speaker's activities has been expanded to include his contributions to podcasts on African economic development. A section on his professional affiliations has been added.
