Colour
editWhy is Beep blue in that shot? His fur is white in all the colour strips. Timrollpickering 01:54, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- He was coloured blue in the Marvel US Doctor Who comic book (which reprinted the DWW/DWM strips in colour). In subsequent colour appearances in DWM, he was white. Dunno if that was a deliberate rejection of the American colourist's work or just reflecting his appearances in the original (black and white) Doctor Who Weekly strip. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 04:31, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Marvel UK
editIt just occured to me; should Beep (and other Doctor Who Magazine characters published before 1995) be added to the category "Marvel UK characters"? Daibhid C (talk) 13:55, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Notability
editNo sources, and not a great deal showing up on Google either (see [1]). So how exactly is this guy notable? I would suggest that this is merged into List of Doctor Who villains which already has a section on him. Alzarian16 (talk) 16:04, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- That list is now just a list. But I agree, he is hardly notable enough for his own article. If it remains, it needs trimming. -- Beardo (talk) 15:06, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
I would agree he wasn't notable enough for a page when this page was actually created, but now he's apparently showing up in the TV series, I think we've spent so long ignoring this page despite it being not notable that it's actually become notable in the meantime! 2023 character name
editI Have changed the text "In September 2023, Miriam Margolyes was confirmed as the voice of Beep" to "voice of the Meep" as, as is noted earlier in the article the TV version of The Star Beast does not use the Beep name and identifies simply as the Meep. Dunarc (talk) 23:53, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
- The Meep is identified as "the Beep of all the Meeps", it's definitely supposed to be the same character. 184.103.17.156 (talk) 17:31, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
Star Beast Plot
editSomeone should update this page with the meep's appearance in "The Star Beast" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:1C0:5001:DBA0:6996:DB5E:11DE:D8A5 (talk) 02:16, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
