DE.Wikipedia has a long entry for K. It used to be exclusively celebratory, now some new revelatikns least added. My suggestion: an English entry has an opportunity to a more balanced assessment, where the new discoveries of K's profound roles in the Nazi system would surpass a mere translation of DE comtent. K is internationally still known today and the critical voices are rather new. K's legacy has been distorted for many decades and is only slowly coming to light: half a century after K's death, 85 years after his worst transgressions against humanity in the name of "science". There are calls now to vet the materials (all millions of quotation slips) and studies conducted by K and his team for racist bias and his construction of "German-dom". It's difficult presently to get that point across in the DE Wikipedia, but it should be at least addressed in the EN entry. MinTrouble (talk) 16:13, 5 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
