Another editor has asked me to declare a possible conflict of interest around this article. My employer partnered with a university conference Richard Cooke presented at. At the conference I took a photo of Richard at the prompting of someone in the audience who wanted to use it for Wikidata. Following the conference, I read more about Richard's work and decided to create an article about him. I wasn't paid to create the article, and it wasn't created to promote my employer.
