WP:RM

How to add tag of WP:RM in article Rajmama (talk) 21:12, 24 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

There is no reason to do that, @Rajmama:. --bonadea contributions talk 07:54, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
hello user:bonadea, Draft:Sangramsingh Thakur he worked in notable film and series which is also available on Wikipedia and also added reliable sources which supports to his projects and also have some WP:ref which show that he worked in notable film and series and you also removed his name from Indian Predator: Murder In A Courtroom why? Rajmama (talk) 20:02, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Rajmama: The Murder in a Courtroom article had Thakur's name listed in the infobox as a starring part, which is clearly not the case. None of the sources in that article mentions his name, but evidently he played one of the murder victims – not a main role, and so shouldn't be listed unless independent sources have discussed his role in the series. --bonadea contributions talk 15:40, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Bonadea thakur is a parallel lead actor in this series he played the role of Avinash Tiwari, Akku Yadav's Best Friend role and there have many significant coverage available on Google. Rajmama (talk) 04:06, 29 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

notability

edit

Answering a question posted at my user talk.

@Rajmama, which three and only three of the sources do you believe are the very best three to support a claim to notability? Each of the three needs to provide significant coverage in a reliable source that is independent of the subject. Please don't give me more than three. Valereee (talk) 15:14, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

From what I can see, none of these sources help support a claim to notability. Times of India is known for paid entertainment coverage, and the remaining sources also don't help. Valereee (talk) 16:00, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

And another at AfD talk: the reason for nominating the article for deletion is that the subject does not appear to be notable. Valereee (talk) 16:09, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Valereee Can we remove it back to draft? Rajmama (talk) 23:11, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Rajmama:, the reason it is being considered for deletion is because I do not believe it is notable. You will see a short summary of this at the top of the deletion discussion. @Valereee:, I would be against moving it back to draft. It was previously declined at least three times at AfC, then moved to the mainspace by creator. Of course I am only one opinion but Rajmama is welcome to participate in the AfD with the request. --CNMall41 (talk) 03:52, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@CNMall41@ValereeeI know this has been declined in drafts before, and the reason for that was that the sources were not supportable. But this time, I added the supportable sources to it and then shifted it from draft to article space, but after having a conversation with @Valereee I came to know that the sources of Times of India would not be valid. That's why I'm asking that it be moved back to the draft area so I can add proper sources. Rajmama (talk) 06:57, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
And one more thing, I do not edit in laptop or computer, I edit from mobile. For this, I cannot use the tools of Wikipedia which have many features. For this, whatever subject I am sending from draft to article space. I look at it in full details, I study it and then I send it from draft to article space and I especially like to work on the actors of Hindi film cinema and Marathi film cinema and the Cast & Crew. because I know about them and who is more Popular here in India and Maharashtra and I contributed according to. I don't have any connection with anyone. I don't charge single penny to anyone. I feel that I should contribute and that's why I do it. Rajmama (talk) 07:18, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the explanation. However, it doesn't make sense to me as experience tells me that someone moving a draft to article space after numerous declines is done because they want the article published and no longer care about the AfC process. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:35, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@CNMall41What do you mean Doesn't make sense? Rajmama (talk) 09:24, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Personal Attack

edit

@Valereee I think @CNMall41 is taking it personally. Rajmama (talk) 09:38, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, no idea what you mean. Taking what personally? Valereee (talk) 10:11, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't take anything personally, especially when it comes to the internet. If you feel I am doing something egregious, please notify the proper noticeboard as I am subject to sanctions just like every other editor. You were advised to make your case for draftify by engaging in the deletion discussion; however, you resorted to borderline WP:ASPERSIONS. I would also suggest taking a look at WP:CANVASSing. I will again suggest, and actually encourage, to make your case in the discussion. --CNMall41 (talk) 21:04, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
