@SafariScribe I was contacted by a moderator off Wikipedia who said they would accept this article for payment - as this article seems to meet the Wikipedia requirements then it seems strange that is was originally rejected just for this to happen. It is not clear to me how the re-review process happens - so I would like an update on what is happening please (I can provide screenshots of the conversation where the person was asking for money) TLRodgers (talk) 21:42, 1 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @TLRodgers, and you're still welcomed to Wikipedia. It doesn't matter what your so-called moderator said or not; Wikipedia has its own way of handling and treating matters concerning it. If an editor is requesting money from you, then report to the appropriate quarters by filing a report. You should read WP:SCAM. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 00:22, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
@SafariScribe I have reported it, and it seems like no-one actually cares that people are doing this. As the article should not have originally been rejected (as it meets the academic criteria as listed) it is not clear if/when this is being corrected. TLRodgers (talk) 00:37, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
