I suppose you could improve it by making a better connection between Shapley and the program. The program is not mentioned in the prize citation, nor on Shapley's Wikipedia page, so you have a missing link. Notability is not inherited, so you will not have helped demonstrate the notability of the program even if you do link its notable faculty members.
Your other two citations have problems. The URL you've given to ProQuest does not lead readers to the article you wished to cite. And the Lumiere page is not quite independent reporting about the program; it's more akin to self-published content we see on blogs. Still lots of work to do to demonstrate that you have a notable subject.
