The name Edajoromarefe[1] is derived from Isoko language where it translates to There is a day, we will be rich. This name reflects the belief that a destined day of success or joy is ahead. It embodies a hopeful declaration for future prosperity and wealth. It is mostly given to the male gender and this aligns with traditional values/belief of destiny among the Isoko people. The name sometimes can be splitted into two and given independently of the other. So there are people whose name is just Edajoro and others are named Marefe. Incases, where a bearer has the full length, they can be nickedname Marefe for short. [2]
