Edmund Serem (born 27 December 2007) is a Kenyan long distance runner and steeplechaser.[1]

Career
editHe won the gold medal in the 2000 metres steeplechase at the 2023 African U18 Championships in Ndola, Zambia in April 2023.[2] He finished sixth at the 2023 African Games in the 3000 metres steeplechase in Accra, Ghana.[3]
He won the silver medal in the 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2024 African Championships in Athletics in Douala, Cameroon.[4]
He won the gold medal at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru in the 3000 metres steeplechase in August 2024 in a time of 8:15.28.[5][6]
Personal life
editHis older brother Amos Serem is also world U20 champion in the steeplechase.[7][8]
