Edwin Marmet (1 Feb 1876 in Cincinnati, Ohio - 4 Mar 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio) was The co-founder of the Marmet & Co. Coal.[1][2] He Is the niece of Otto Marmet, and brother of William Marmet. He was a Captain on the Mississippi and Kanawha River in the early 1900s. Marmet, West Virginia was named after the Marmet Company.[3]
