Club career
editVanhanen made her league debut for KMF against NiceFutis on 17 June 2009.[1] She scored her first league goal against United Pietarsaari on 30 April 2011, scoring in the 17th minute.[2]
During her first spell, Vanhanen made her league debut for Pallokissat against Ilves on 14 April 2012.[3] She scored her first league goal against FC Honka on 6 June 2012, scoring in the 73rd minute.[4]
Vanhanen had played 100 matches in the Finnish league by the age of 21.[5]
In February 2013 Vanhanen signed a National Letter of Intent to join the University of Pittsburgh, where she will play varsity soccer for the Pittsburgh Panthers.[6]
Vanhanen scored on her league debut against FC Honka on 22 March 2014, scoring in the 89th minute.[7]
On 2 November 2016, Vanhanen was announced at Palokissat.[8] She made her league debut against PK-35 Vantaa on 18 March 2017.[9] Vanhanen scored her first league goal against JJK Jyväskylä on 13 April 2017, scoring in the 57th minute.[10]
Vanhanen made her league debut against FC Honka on 23 March 2019.[11] She scored her first league goal against Åland United on 30 March 2019.[12]
Vanhanen won the Kansallinen Liiga at the end of the 2021 season with KuPS.[13]
International career
editVanhanen was called up to be part of the national team for the UEFA Women's Euro 2013.[14]
Vanhanen was called up to the 2014 Cyprus Women's Cup squad, and played against England on 7 March 2014.[15]
Personal life
editVanhanen has an older sister and a younger brother, and enjoys playing the drums. She enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.[16]
