The Fender Squier Precision Bass is an entry level variant of the Fender Precision Bass, produced in foreign countries such as Indonesia and China, and formerly Japan and Mexico. Despite their cheap price, Squier guitars are known to be of very high quality, with some eras of Squier guitars notably exceeding Fender's offerings of the time. [2]
There have been many Squier Precision Basses related to the Fender Artist Signature Series, such as Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz[3] and Rancid's Matt Freeman.[4]
