Originál písně Kde domov můj pochází z divadelní zpěvohry Fidlovačka, aneb žádný hněv a žádná rvačka uvedené v roce 1834. Autorem hudby je František Škroup, autorem textu Josef Kajetán Tyl. V textu pak následně mírně pozměněná první sloka písně byla použita pro státní hymnu.
The original version of the song “Where is my home? comes from the singspielFidlovačka (1834). Music by František Škroup, lyrics by Josef Kajetán Tyl. With lyrics a little bit changed, the first verse of the song has started to be used as an anthem (from the year 1993 as the Czech National Anthem).
