Description A Curtiss C-46 Commando (C-46F-1-CU s/n 44-78648?) operated by the CIA-affiliated Civil Air Transport (CAT), forerunner of the Air America. The CAT flew support missions for the French at Dien Bien Phu in 1954 using Fairchild C-119s, and elsewhere in Indochina with other aircraft like this C-46.
