Ils détachent sur le rideau de verdure, quioccupe le fond, leurs branches tordues par levent. Dans le ciel, chargé encore des légères vapeursdu matin, les nuages que le soleil va bientôt dis-perser. Signé à droite et daté jS. Haut., 62 cent.; larg., 92 cent. 36 SISLEY (A.) 35 — Le Chemin des Petits Prés ;Temps dorage, Printemps. A droite, un bois sétend le long de la rivièrequi sélargit sur le premier plan. Sur le bord deleau, les taillis aux verdures naissantes se reflè-tent dans le courant. Au fond, les peupliers etles bouleaux dressent leurs troncs sveltes auxramures ténues et encore dégarnies de feuillage. A gauche, la rive opposée se profile sous unciel chargé de nuages. Lun deux, une fillette, essaie dat-teindre, pour sy balancer, les branches noueusesdun vieux poirier. Plus loin, vers la gauche, unefemme, qui tient un garçonnet à la main, sedirige vers les enfants. Au loin, la rivière dont les eaux transparentesreflètent les tons chauds du ciel. Signé à droite et daté Si. Toile. Haut., 55 cent.; larg., 7 3 cent. — 3S SISLEY (A.) 37 — Noyer à Veneux-Nadon, Cou-cher de soleil. Un vieux noyer, au tronc moussu, domine deses branches noueuses les autres arbres dunverger. Vers la droite, quelques touffes de bruyèressont en fleurs. Chargée de fagots, une paysanne, coiffée dunbonnet blanc, se dirige vers un groupe de mai-sons bordées darbres.
