Most likely this is only a part of a larger canvas. The interpretation of the painting is very uncertain. A reconstruction of the entire painting was made by Bernard M. Vermet and published in 1998 in "“Gentse Bijdragen tot de kunstgeschiedenis en Oudheidkunde"
