DescriptionPEROT POST OFFICE, HAMILTON, BERMUDA.jpg
English: HERE BERMUDA'S FIRST STAMPS WERE BORN; BUILDING DATES FROM 1840; PEROT MADE UP STAMPS WITH HIS NAME ON THEM AND SOLD THEM TO CUSTOMERS WHO COULD TEAR OFF A STAMP AND PASTE IT ON A LETTER AND MAIL IT WITHOUT PEROT HAVING TO BE INTERRUPTED FROM POTTERING AROUND HIS GARDEN IN 1848
THERE IS NO ARTICLE ON THE PEROT POST OFFICE ALTHOUGH IT IS RED-LINED IN PLACES TO SEE IN BERMUDA. TO STAMP COLLECTORS THIS IS A SHRINE BECAUSE OF THE EARLY DATE OF HIS STAMPS.
