History
editThe airline was established and began flight operations in 6 February 2017 as VIA Airways (VAW) with two Airbus A320 aircraft (LZ-MDK and LZ-MDO).
Later on, in February 2019, it was re-branded as Fly2Sky Airlines and the company was focused on ACMI and Charter operations.[3]
Since the airline began operating flights under ACMI/WetLease contracts, the company has achieved very significant and positive success, including having signed long-term ACMI contracts with some airlines such as Transavia, AirBaltic, TAP Air Portugal, AirArabia, IcelandAir, AirSerbia, SkyUp Airlines, HumoAir in Asian continent, United Nigeria Airlines, AirAlgerie in African continent or World Atlantic Airways in USA etc.
Fly2Sky announced on its LinkedIn network the massive recruitment of new professionals to begin the opening of its subsidiary Fly2Sky Malta which will have office and headquarters in Valletta, Malta. This is part of the company's restructuring process.
