Russian film critic Larisa Malyukova (Novaya Gazeta) called it "an unexpectedly lively anti-romcom".[5]

Plot

edit

Vanya is a young man with oddities. He works at the Hunter and Fisherman store, lives in his old-fashioned grandmother's apartment and calls all women "frau". Everything changes when he meets Kristina, a ballerina at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, and begins to court her in his own original manner. She, in turn, is not pleased with all of Vanya's character traits and habits, and is determined to re-educate the young man, cutting off everything unnecessary.
