The Free Group (Freie Fraktion, abbreviated FF) is a regionalist and conservative political party in South Tyrol. The party, which is part of the South Tyrolean independence movement, seeks to represent the German-speaking majority and Ladin-speaking minority in the province. FF took inspiration from the Free Voters of Bavaria, a similar movement active in the German state.[1][2][3]

The party, active mainly as a parliamentary group in the Landtag of South Tyrol, was founded in March 2024 by Andreas Leiter Reber, a longstanding member of Die Freiheitlichen (dF), who opposed its party's support to the SVP-led government of Arno Kompatscher.[4][5][6]
