Gaurav Yadav is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of 1992 batch. He is current Director General of Police of Punjab.[1][2]

Career
editYadav has been the DGP of Punjab Police since July 2022 and has headed the Intelligence Wing of Punjab Police during 2016-17 and was Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann before becoming the head of the state police. [3]
