"Good Day" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band BoyNextDoor. Released as part of the maxi single "And,", it is the group's first original Japanese-language song, released alongside Japanese re-recordings of select tracks from Who! (2023), Why.. (2023), and How? (2024). It was released on July 10, 2024, through Universal Music Japan. Kentz and Noizewave composed the song with lyrics written by the former. Characterized as a hip-hop song, "Good Day" discusses how one can enjoy time alone after a breakup.

editBoyNextDoor debuted in 2023 with the single album Who!, which was followed by the extended plays Why.. and How? as part of a "first love trilogy".[1][2][3] The band achieved steady commercial success in Japan with the three releases, culminating with How? debuting at number one at the Oricon Albums Chart.[4] On May 6, 2024, KOZ Entertainment announced that BoyNextDoor will debut in Japan with the release of their debut Japanese single "And,".[5]
Composition
edit"Good Day" has a runtime of two minutes and 52 seconds.[6] The song was composed by Kentz and Noizewaves with the former providing lyrics.[6] It is a hip-hop song characterized by a "groovy beat" about "enjoying time alone after a breakup".[7][8] The maxi single consists of three additional tracks in addition to "Good Day" – the Japanese re-recordings of "One and Only", "But Sometimes" and "Earth, Wind & Fire".[9][10]
