HMP Fosse Way is a Category C prison in Leicester, England, UK. It has a planned capacity of 1,930 male inmates and cost £286 million to construct.[1] It is operated by Serco, under a ten-year contract, and received its first prisoners on Monday 29 May 2023.

History
editThe prison was constructed on the site of HM Prison Glen Parva, which closed in 2017.[2]
In August 2022, a proposal to increase the size of the prison to accommodate 250 additional inmates was announced.[3] In December 2022, the proposal was approved.[2]
