Harold "Hal" Erickson (born 1950) is an American media historian who was a senior editor at AllRovi for 15 years starting in 1994 when it was known as "All Movies".

Biography
editHe received a bachelor's degree in acting and directing from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a master's degree in theater history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[1] He has also written several books relating to the history of movies and television as well as many media articles for Encyclopædia Britannica. He lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[2]
