Hanif Yusuf is a Sri Lankan businessman, entrepreneur, and the current governor of the Western Province of Sri Lanka.[1][2] He is also the co-founder of Expolanka Holdings PLC.[3]

Hanif Yusuf was born in Kollupitiya in 1958, to Gujurati Parents.
His family immigrated just prior to partition of India, His Grandfather become citizens at the suggest of Prime Minister John Kotelawela, who he had met playing cards.
