This is on the bulk of archive pages, So for consistency let's deprecate this and the section of the parent page. (We could change the template to be consistent, but consensus is apparently for the former.) RudolfoMD (talk) 23:48, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
So confused
Two issues: instructions are here twice and neither is complete
Why are the instructions here twice? since one was too complicated someone added another ... that's about as long and complicated as the other? I'm happy to combine them and simply the result. But I need to know the intent of the info.
First set says: User talk:username/Archive N". I'm supposed to use "username" or my username? Or am I supposed to use the article name?
Second set says: make a link to the archive name you plan on creating. Should help me know/decide what name I plan to use. Stevebroshar (talk) 23:00, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
