Updating browser support (2022)

edit

The browser support section speaks of Internet Explorer and not of Microsoft Edge, which suggests to me that it hasn't recently been tested in modern browsers. —Octavo (talk) 02:48, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

About Samaritan font

edit

Google already released Noto Sans Samaritan, I wonder if someone would add that to the page since it would be helpful --Ternatean Libra (talk) 08:56, 16 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Kaktovik numerals

edit

Kaktovik numerals were added to Unicode recently (v15.0). While not a script, shouldn't Kaktovik numerals be added to the list, for font support? DePiep (talk) 12:22, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Done. DRMcCreedy (talk) 16:32, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Scripts check

edit

Has this page been crosschecked for all Unicode scripts being present and findable? Listed here and {{ISO 15924/overview-4id}} are the 166. DePiep (talk) 17:43, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fonts aren't displayed correctly

edit

I do have Noto fonts installed for several scripts (Psalter Pahlavi, Linear A and B), but the characters nevertheless aren't rendered correctly when I view Wikipedia articles with any browser. I get empty squares instead. The characters do appear correctly in Word, for example (although Segoe UI Historic doesn't really display the Psalter Pahlavi characters in Word either, contrary to what the page suggests). Any ideas as to what the problem could be? 62.73.69.121 (talk) 07:40, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have a question.

edit

I have found a font that supports the following scripts listed on this page: Armenian, Deseret, Gothic, Kaktovik Numerals, Lisu, Shavian. The font's name is Lentariso, and it can be found on Github. I was wondering if it would be possible to add the font to the lists? GeniusWorkbench4622 20:08, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

A decorative font with many unusual letterforms doesn't sound like a useful addition to this page in general in my opinion. With the possible exception of Kaktovik numerals, there are many better fonts to recommend to someone who were to see tofu otherwise. – MwGamera (talk) 13:19, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

The flipped Phaistos disc

edit

I can't remember exactly which fonts did I installed to display the Phaistos disc, but atleast one of them will display all the characters flipped horizontally instead of the correct render. Someone better fix it. Mucksrunt (talk) 07:27, 21 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
