The manuscript contains a book of hours, daily prayers asking for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.[1] Despite its tiny format, the manuscript contains 13 full-page miniatures, numerous gold initials and even a bookmark.[1] Decorations are typical of French prayer books from the late 15th and early 16th century.[1] Decorations may have been made in Tours.[2]
