House of Twitch is a Nigerian multinational talent management and event production company founded in 2010 by Ayotunde Fabamwo. They are the organizers of Miss Ideal Nigeria, Mr Ideal Nigeria, Model Look Africa, Mr. Teen Nigeria, Miss Ideal Teen and International pageant Mister Africa International.[1][2]

They company has so far produced several talents some of which includes: Nollywood Actor Abayomi Alvin, Emmanuel Somto, ex-Big brother Naija housemates Emmanuel Umoh, Hermes and Gedoni [3]

They also hold international franchises with Miss Global Beauty queen pageant, Miss Tourism World, and Top Model of the World of which they send delegates from their respective pageantries.[4][5]

History

House of Twitch was founded in 2010 by Ayotunde Fabamwo with the launch of its first pageant Miss Omolewa which ran for several editions before being discontinued due to declining interest. It was later rebranded in 2014 as Miss Ideal Nigeria and it has been held annually since then producing representatives from Nigeria to some international pageants.[6][7]

The company also introduced the Mr Ideal Nigeria competition in 2010 and it was launched in Akure, the pageant has so far held 15 editions since inception and emerged best male pageant brand of the year at the Eko Heritage awards.[8][9][10]

They launched Mister Africa International in 2012 in London, the maiden edition had 20 participating countries. Also in 2012, they introduced Mr Teen Nigeria Competition which ran for 3 years before they paused and returned in 2020 and it has been held annually since then.[11]

In 2019, House of Twitch partnered with TN media to launch model Look Africa. In 2024 the company announced Miss Nigeria Teen competition, which will debut in 2025.

Composition

Mr Ideal Nigeria is an annual pageant that empowers young men in Nigeria physically, socially and economically. The winner of Mr Ideal Nigeria automatically represents Nigeria at Mister Africa International.[8]

Miss Ideal Nigeria is a Nigerian beauty pageant aimed at empowering young women across Nigeria. The winners and runners up of Miss Ideal Nigeria automatically represents Nigeria at Miss Global Beauty queen pageant, Miss Tourism World, and Top Model of the World[4]

Mister Africa International is an international male pageant which is held annually, it involves a worldwide search for the most adorable African man in the world. It currently has franchises in 30 African countries and has had participations from 40 African countries.[12]

Model Look Africa

The Model Look Africa is a competition for emerging male models across Africa competing for an ultimate prize that will kickstart their career in the industry.[13]

Mr Teen Nigeria

Mr. Teen Nigeria stands as the preeminent teenage male pageant in Nigeria, providing a platform for young male talent to shine. The winner not only secures a substantial cash prize but also gains access to exclusive events and earns a coveted modelling contract.[14]

Miss Ideal Teen

Miss Ideal Teen is a beauty pageant open to teenage girls across Nigeria, it holds a significant role as the advocate for our anti-bullying campaign. This position bears great responsibility in raising awareness and standing up against bullying.[14]

Partnerships

House of Twitch currently has partnership deals with Coca-Cola, T.T Dalk, Chicken Republic, MTN, Golden Penny, Royal Arts Academy. These brands sponsor some their pageants and offers prizes to its winners.[15][16][17]
