Human Error is an Australian television crime drama for the Nine Network, releasing on 11 September 2024. Created by Greg Haddick, the series follows the life of police officer Holly O'Rourke and her police team with a case that could ruin Holly's reputation and career she wants to redeem herself with the investigation but as lies unravel the race to catch a killer is underway.[1]

Plot
editInspired by true events, Holly O'Rourke begins investigating a murder that turns her whole life upside down, it threatens to destroy her career as the investigation becomes embroiled in conspiracy and a deeper plot.[2]

Production
editOn 14 September 2022, the six-part series was greenlit for production by Screen Australia, receiving support from VicScreen.[4]
The series would go into production several months later in February 2023.[5][3]
Human Error was set to lead the 2023 9 Network drama slate but was pushed back until the following year.[6]
