In September 2024, American YouTuber and streamer Darren Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed, toured seven countries in Southeast Asia on livestream. The tour is the most successful tour by a streamer of all time, with Watkins gaining 3.4 million new subscribers and receiving a total watchtime of 4.16 million hours over a two week period, making the tour more successful than his tour of Europe during the UEFA Euro 2024.[1]
Duration | September 9 – 25 2024 |

Location | Southeast Asia (various locations) |
Organised by | IShowSpeed |
Watkins visited seven countries on the tour: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.[1] Throughout the stream, Watkins visited various tourist attractions, experienced the local culture and cuisine and saw wildlife such as elephants, monkeys and tigers, with fans following him through the streets. Watkins also signed autographs for, took selfies with and received gifts from fans. Whilst in the Philippines, Watkins met former politician and professional boxer Manny Pacquiao.[2]
The tour was highly successful. Indeed, the stream titled "IRL Stream in Indonesia" received a peak viewership of over one million, making it the first stream by an English-speaking streamer to receive over one million views whilst live. Excluding music videos and shorts, the stream is the most watched video on the IShowSpeed channel, with over 24 million views as of November 2024.[3]
