He served twice as coach of Panathinaikos F.C. (1928 - 1934, 1936 - 1939) and is the longest-serving coach in the club's history. He won one Greek championship as manager with Panathinaikos F.C. in 1930 and 8 Cypriot championships with APOEL FC. Until today, he is the coach with the most championships in Cyprus.

He had a brief spell as coach of Greece National Team in 1936.
