Early life and high school

edit

Woodard attended high school at Little Rock Christian Academy located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Coming out of high school, Woodard was unrated where he held offers from schools such as Southern Nazarene and VMI.[1] However, Woodard decided to commit to play college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks as a preferred walk-on.[2][3]

College career

edit

Arkansas

edit

During Woodard's three-year career at Arkansas from 2020 to 2022, he played in 28 games where he totaled 16 tackles, and a pass deflection.[4][5][6] After the 2022 season, Woodard decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[7][8]

UNLV

edit

Woodard decided to transfer to play for the UNLV Rebels.[9][10] In Woodard's first season with UNLV in 2023, he had a breakout season notching 116 tackles with nine being for a loss, two and a half sacks, four pass deflections, and an interception.[11][12] In week one of the 2024 season, Woodard was named the Mountain West defensive player of the week after posting 11 tackles with four being for a loss, three sacks, and a pass deflection in a win over the Houston Cougars.[13]
