Jacques Hintzy, born June 25, 1937, in Charenton-le-Pont and died October 20, 2013, in Versailles, is a French advertising executive, former president of the French committee of UNICEF. He was replaced in 2012 by Michèle Barzach.[1]

Biography
editA graduate of HEC Paris and Sciences Po in 1958, he participated in the team, as an employee of Havas, of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing during the 1974 French presidential election.[2] His role was to prepare propaganda documents.[3]
He used his advertising skills by engaging UNICEF in advertising communications and direct marketing.[4]
Jacques Hintzy is buried in the family chapel in the North cemetery in Puy-en-Velay.[5]
