Background
editThe Jan Suraaj campaign began with a Padyatra (foot march) across various districts in Bihar, where Kishor and his team engaged with local communities to build a connection with the grassroots and gather insights for policy formulation.[5] The campaign was launched to bring transformative political change in the state of Bihar in India.[6]
Plans
editThe Jan Suraaj Party is set to contest all 243 Assembly seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, challenging the existing political establishment.[7] The party's strategy includes mobilizing support from various sections of society and promoting a vision of inclusive and sustainable development.[8]
