Joe Boggan (born 21 April 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Chester, on loan from Livingston.

Club career

[edit]

Boggan began his career in the youth academy of Liverpool, before transferring to Blackburn Rovers in 2023. After signing his first professional contract, he had two short loan spells with Macclesfield and F.C. United of Manchester.[1]

In April 2025, he attracted interest from German clubs Hamburger SV and VfB Stuttgart, however a transfer did not materialise.[2][3] He was released by the Ewood Park club in 2026 without making a single first team appearance.

Boggan signed for Livingston on a two year deal following a successful trial in July 2026.[4][5][6]

In September 2026, Boggan signed for Chester on loan until the end of the 2026–27 season.[7]
