John D. Babbage (March 28, 1916 – April 28, 1990) was an American politician. He served as a Republican member for the 76th district of the California State Assembly.

Life and career
editBabbage was born in New York.[1] He attended Miami Military Academy, the University of Southern California and Columbia University.[2]
In 1948, Babbage was elected to represent the 76th district of the California State Assembly, succeeding Philip L. Boyd. He served until 1953, when he was succeeded by J. Ward Casey.[3]
Babbage died on April 28, 1990,[1] at the age of 74.
