John Edwin Davenport (April 28, 1928 – July 24, 2024) was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives.[1]

Life and career
editDavenport was born on April 28, 1928.[2] He attended the University of North Carolina and the University of North Carolina School of Law.[1] Davenport served in the North Carolina House of Representatives[1] from 1973 to 1979. He died on July 24, 2024, at the age of 96.[3]
